Okay so we weren't as impressed with Demonsamongus as some other sites, the movie has some major issues, and haven't as yet rocked out to El Monstro Del Mar! due to various other calls on our time, but following Simpson's excellent work on a number of shorts out interest is being peaked by Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla, the Neapolitan of Australian dark cinema.

The movie looks to be the normal Simpson surreal serve of various flavours, mix and match genres, and all out insanity. So something in there for most dark genre followers then. No release date as such for anyone wanting to catch the movie though the premier is scheduled for Monster Fest Sunday, November 24th @ 6:30 PM. If you want to be one of the first to catch this new shocker from Downunder then purchase a ticket via the Monster Fest site.

In further Simpson news the big fella has entered his short M for Mutant in the ABCs of Death 2 search for the 26th Director competition. Best of luck to Stuart there, would be great to see another local Director in the line up. Oh and here's the first teaser for Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla.
